OUTREACH PREVENTION AND SUPPORT
PROSPERITY

Prosperity is a family-centered home visitation program for youth ages 14 to 21 throughout northern and central New Jersey. Participates receive independent-living skills education, career counseling and employment preparation through weekly workshops, mentoring groups and one-on-one support.
Many Prosperity participants will soon “age-out” of foster care. Visions and Pathways has developed relationships with corporations who provide volunteers to assist clients in reaching their personal goals. Ultimately, Prosperity helps decrease the probability of long-term dependence on public assistance, incarceration and other detrimental life experiences. Through home visits, one-on-one, counseling, mentoring and workshops, youth received instruction in:
