WE GIVE YOUTH A HOME AND A HOPEFUL FUTURE.

Visions and Pathways has helped abused, neglected, homeless, missing and at-risk youth since 1970. Our kids have broken lives. Some are shattered; some have just a small crack. Some show no physical signs of damage - the scars are on the inside. We help them put the pieces back together, build their self-esteem and acquire the skills they need to thrive by providing; food, housing, counseling, education assistance, arts and recreation activities, career and employment counseling, scholarships and financial literacy instruction.

Our youth won't make it without the help of a caring community; people like you who are willing to contribute to their success. With your help, they will be able to put the past behind and build a brighter future. Visions and Pathways has helped more than 8,000 youth and their families find their inner strength and peace of mind.

THE FIRST NONPROFIT, PRIVATELY RUN YOUTH SHELTER IN THE STATE

On Nov. 26, 1973, what was then named the Somerset Youth Shelter opened its doors. It was the first nonprofit, privately run youth shelter in the state. By the fifth day, there were three children. By the seventh day, there were 12. It was filled to capacity, and it has remained that way nearly every day since.
